I HAVE A DREAM (excerpts)
Martin Luther King Jr., at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom (August 28, 1963)

But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force …

… No, no we are not satisfied and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.

I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive …

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together …

This is our hope … With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day …

Let freedom ring. And when this happens, and when we allow freedom to ring – when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children – black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics – will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: “Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

Keroncong Untuk Raja

Engkau dalang
Dalang kemusnahan
Kemusnahan sebuah kepalsuan
Kepalsuan seiras dalang

Cerita mu bagaikan kisah dongeng
Engkau bersayapkan sayap lalat
Terbang bersenjatakan akal
Tapi bukan akal sejengkal
Akalmu seiras akal dalang

Engkau adalah haiwan
Yang kejam dan meletihkan
Tapi bukan pada semua haiwan
Kerana bukan semua haiwan ketawa tidak berakal

Dalang
Rajailah prinsip hidupmu
Walau jasadmu dimamah haiwan
Sesungguhnya namamu Raja Dalang

Salam perjuangan..buat Raja…perjuanganmu amat beerti….

Keroncong Untuk Anak Raja Petra , tak ada ka????

seperti kera (altantuya) dihutan disusukan , anak sendiri (raja azman) mati kelaparan ……

SHAH ALAM: Malaysia Today portal editor Raja Petra Raja Kamarudin’s son pleaded guilty to four separate counts of theft, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass.

Raja Azman Raja Petra, 32, dressed casually in a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt with the word “Russia” emblazoned on it, appeared before magistrate Norkamilah Aziz here yesterday at about 11.30am.

He was accused of stealing a Nokia mobile phone; a Seiko watch and a bunch of motorcycle keys — all worth about RM3,850 — belonging to student Saipul Adli Mohamad Yunus, 21, at No. 16, Jalan Sastera, U2/1K, Section U2, Shah Alam, at about 10am on April 24.

Facing the music: Raja Azman being escorted to the Shah Alam magistrate’s court to be charged with stealing motorbikes and breaking into a house.

He was also accused of stealing a Yamaha 135LC motorcycle worth about RM6,000 from student Ahmad Firdaus Jalaludin, 23, at the same location and time.

He admitted to an alternate charge of possessing a Yamaha 135LC motorcycle worth about RM6,000 with the knowledge, or with cause to believe, that the motorcycle was a stolen property.

Raja Azman also pleaded guilty to another count of motorcycle theft, a black Yamaha RXZ worth about RM8,000 at 9.30am on March 20, at No. 65, Jalan Batas 2, 19/6B, Section 19, Shah Alam. The machine belonged to operator Mohd Syaiful Setapa, 24.

Lastly, he was also charged for breaking into house No. 65, Jalan Batas 2, and stealing Mohd Syaiful’s wallet containing his identification card, RM20, road tax, Maybank and BSN ATM cards and his driver’s licence.

If convicted, he can face a jail term of up to 10 years, with a fine.

How did Raja Petra leave country?
PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating how Malaysia Today news portal editor Raja Petra Raja Kamarudin, believed to be in Brisbane, Australia, left the country without a trace.

“We have sought assistance from our counterparts in Australia, to check if Raja Petra is still in Brisbane,’’ said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan.

He was commenting on a report in a Malay daily quoting Immigration director-general Datuk Abdul Rahman Othman as saying that there were no recent records at all the designated checkpoints in the country of Raja Petra having left the country.

Abdul Rahman had said that if reports that Raja Petra had gone overseas were true, he must have used “underground” routes to leave the country.

A sessions court had on Tuesday slapped Raja Petra with a second warrant of arrest when he failed to show up for his criminal defamation trial.

The court also issued a show-cause notice to Raja Petra’s wife and bailor Marina Lee Abdullah for not being in court to explain his absence.

The earlier arrest warrant against Raja Petra was issued by a Sessions Court on April 23 when he failed to turn up for his trial involving a seditious article published in his news portal.

Raja Petra had also claimed trial on July 17 last year to three counts of criminal defamation over his statutory declaration on the murder of Mongolian translator Altantuya Shaaribu.

Raja Petra had allegedly defamed Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Lt-Kol Norhayati Hassan and her husband Lt-Kol Abdul Aziz Buyong.

On another matter, Musa stressed that Parti Komunis Malaya (PKM) was banned in the country.

“Therefore, we will monitor all movements and parties that support PKM leader Chin Peng’s plea to return to the country,’’ he said. “We will immediately take action if an offence is committed.”

The Federal Court had on April 30 refused Chin Peng’s motion for leave to appeal against two lower courts’ decisions compelling him to produce his identification documents before he could enter the country.

Musa also warned Perak DAP chief Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham against making false remarks pertaining to the arrest of five event management firm workers.

The five workers were arrested for participating in an illegal rally on Tuesday, said Musa.

Ngeh had claimed that the five were arrested because the police found the words “Daulat Tuanku” used on a sticker to be seditious.
